2. Set the effect type of MOD block to “ROT.”

3. Connect the footswitch to the FS2 port.

• Setting a TEMPO

You can set the TEMPO parameter in the MOD block or DLY block using the Yamaha
FC5. The interval between pressing the footswitch twice is used as a TEMPO parameter. MOD block and DLY block

can operate simultaneously. This function is effective for the following effects.

MOD block:

PAN, TRM

DLY block:

TD1,TD2,TMD

When you press the footswitch while the LCD shows the parameter of the available effect block (a block for which
this function is effective), the display shows a graph indicating that the time is being measured. Press the footswitch
before this graph disappears to set the TEMPO parameter.

1. Select “EFFECT TRIGGER” in “5.4 FS2 function” on page 25.

2. Select the available effect type for the MOD block or DLY block. Change the TRG parameter to FS2.

3. Connect the footswitch to the FS2 port.
