4.5 FS1 EFFECT ON/OFF

When the FSl function is assigned to Effect On/Off, the fifth page of the EDIT Mode allows you to select which of the
nine Effect Blocks will be affected by this control. This function is great for “kicking in” a special effect during a solo or
for turning off selected effects when not being used within a Program. Any or all of the nine Effect Blocks may be assigned
for this On/Off feature within each USER Program. The FS1 function must be set to EFFECT ON/OFF in Utility mode for
this function to work. If it isn't, "FSl" will flash on the LCD.

The EFF. ON/OFF (FSl) display on the LCD contains the following information:

EFF„OH/CiFF(FSl)

COIIi^' i UNUSED-

USED/UNUSED

Effect

Effect designates the currently selected Effect Block to be assigned.

USED or UNUSED display selects whether the currently selected Effect Block will be affected when the FSl

footswitch is pressed.

To Assign the FSl function to an Effect Block:

1. Press the [EDIT] key until the LCD display appears as above.

2. With the cursor under the Effect parameter, use the [DATA WHEEL] to select the Effect Block that you wish

to assign to this function.

3. Use the [►] cursor key to place the cursor under the Used/Unused parameter and then select USED or UNUSED

with the [DATA WHEEL].

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 above for each Effect Block that you wish to control with FSl.
