The following list explains the operation and features available if the correct 4 alphanumeric character
password is entered by the operator.

1)

Keypad Password:
 The current keypad lock setting is saved.
 The MODE, TARE, and ZERO buttons are unlocked, enabling the operator to tare or zero the scale.
 Pressing the ENTER button a second time returns the keypad lock to its original setting.

2)

Configuration Password:
 The current keypad lock and configuration lock setting are saved.
 The TARE and ZERO buttons are unlocked, enabling the operator to tare or zero the scale.
 The CONFIG button is also enabled allowing the operator to open the configuration menus.
 When the operator exits the configuration menu, the display lock and keypad lock are set to their original settings. If no

changes to the configuration lock or password parameters were made the configuration lock is also set to its original
lock settings; otherwise the latest configuration security settings are used.


The Configuration Lock

While the configuration lock is enabled the Configuration button is disabled, preventing the operator from viewing or modifying
any instrument parameters.

If the CONFIG button is pressed the “Enter Password” page will appear on the display. At this level of security the operator can
enter only one possible password for the configuration lock.

The configuration lock flowchart shows the options and features when the configuration lock is enabled.
