This 20 segment LED meter reads the actual audio signal level being sent from
Matrix A.

All Matrix Groups have a Send and Return break-jack facility placed after the mixing
amplifier and before the output level potentiometer. This is to allow the Matrix Group
signal to be sent to and returned from an external processing unit. A relay is used to
switch the insert function IN and OUT. The relay is controlled by the insert (INS A)
switch. When the insert switch is not selected, the Matrix Group signal is passed
directly from the input stage to the output pot.

A PFL switch is provided on each Matrix Group to allow the operator to instanta-
neously monitor the audio signal in the group.
