Recording Time-lapse Movies

o

If the card does not have enough free space to record the set number of shots,

[Playback time]

will be displayed in red. Although the camera can continue

shooting, the shooting will stop when the card becomes full.

o

If the movie fi le size exceeds 4 GB with the

[No. of shots]

settings and the

card is not formatted in exFAT (

=

[Playback time]

in red. If you keep shooting in this condition and the movie fi le size reaches 4

GB, the time-lapse movie recording will stop.

o

Do not point the camera toward an intense light source, such as the sun or an

If the shutter speed is 1/30 sec. or slower, the exposure of the movie may not

When recording a time-lapse movie under a fl ickering light, noticeable image

fl ickering, horizontal stripes (noise), or irregular exposures may be recorded.

inconsistent brightness from fl ickering light sources, or noise from a high ISO

speed.)

o

When recording a time-lapse movie under low light, the image displayed

during shooting may look diff erent from what is actually recorded in the movie.

In such cases, the

o
