Uninsulated stacks or ducts may
cause ambient temperatures around
the electronics to exceed 185°F (85°C),
which may cause overheating damage
to the electronics.

8. If insulation is being removed to access

the duct work for Oxymitter 4000
mounting, make sure the insulation is
replaced afterward (Figure 2-9).

c. Remote Electronics Installation

For an Oxymitter 4000 equipped with re-
mote electronics, install the probe according
to the instructions in paragraph 2-1.b. Install
the remote electronics unit on a stand pipe
or similar structure, Figure 2-2.
