2-1. Punch In/Out Rehearsal (Using a foot switch)

Rehearsal

1. Press the foot switch once while holding down the STOP button.

The D-160 will enter the "Rehearsal" mode, and the 35 dot display on the upper
row of the screen will show "Rehearsal On" for one second. Only the REHEARSAL
LED (green) will blink.

2. Press the RECORD TRACK select key “3” to set Track 3 to ready mode. (Indicator

“3” will flash.)

3. Press the PLAY button at a location just before the punch in point to play back

data.

4. Rehearse the guitar part while playing back the drum and bass sounds.

5. Press the foot switch once at the Punch In point, and press the foot switch

again at the Punch Out point. The following diagram illustrates this operation.

You will hear the guitar sound you are playing only between the punch in and
out points.

1. Press the foot switch again while holding down the STOP button to cancel

Rehearsal mode.

The 35 dot display on the upper row of the screen will show "Rehearsal Off"
for one second. Also, the REHEARSAL LED (green) will turn off, indicating that
you have quit the Rehearsal mode.
