EASY Mode (for Beginners) Modalidad EASY (para principiantes)
✤ The EASY mode allows a beginner to easily make good
recordings.
■ The EASY mode only operates in CAMCORDER and
CAMERA modes.
1. Set the Power Switch to REC mode.
2. By pressing the EASY button, all functions on the
camera will be set to OFF and the recording set-
tings will be set to the following basic modes:
■ Battery level, recording mode, counter,
DATE/TIME, and EIS (
) will be displayed.
■ The word “EASY.Q” will appear on the LCD at
the same time.
However, the DATE/TIME will only be seen if it
has been previously set. (See page 44)
3. Press the START/STOP or PHOTO button to start
recording.
■ Recording will begin using the basic automatic
settings.
4. Press the EASY button again to turn EASY mode
off.
■ The EASY function will not turn off when you are
recording.
■ The camera will return to the settings that were set prior to
activating EASY mode.
Notes
■ In EASY mode, certain functions are not available, such as MENU,
FADE, BLC, MF/AF.

If you want to use these functions, you must first turn EASY
mode off.
■ The EASY mode settings are deleted when the battery pack is
uninstalled from the camcorder and
therefore, they must be reset when a battery pack has been
replaced.
✤ La modalidad EASY (uso sencilla) permite a los principiantes
obtener buenas grabaciones con facilidad.
■ La función EASY sólo está operativa en las modalidades
CAMCORDER y CAMERA.
1. Ajuste el interruptor de encendido en la
modalidad REC.
2. Pulse el botón EASY para que se desactiven
todas las funciones de la cámara. Los ajustes de
grabación se acomodarán a las siguientes
modalidades básicas:
■ Aparecerán en la pantalla las funciones nivel
de la batería, modalidad de grabación,
contador, DATE/TIME y EIS (
).
■ Al mismo tiempo aparecerá en la pantalla la
palabra “EASY.Q”.
No obstante, la función DATE/TIME sólo se
verá si se ha ajustado previamente
(Véase página 44).
3. Pulse el botón START/STOP o PHOTO para
comenzar la grabación.
■ La grabación empieza con los ajustes
automáticos básicos.
4. Si se pulsa de nuevo el botón EASY se desactivará la función.
■ La función EASY no se desactivará cuando esté grabando.
■ La videocámara volverá a los ajustes realizados antes de
activar la modalidad EASY.
Notas
■ En la modalidad EASY, no se puede acceder a algunas funciones
como MENU, FADE, BLC, MF/AF.
- Si desea usar estas funciones primero deberá desactivar la
modalidad EASY.
■ Los ajustes de la modalidad EASY se borran cuando se quita la
batería de la videocámara y, por lo tanto, deberán ajustarse de
nuevo al volver a colocarla.
