● REC MODE
✤ The REC MODE function works in both CAMCORDER and
PLAY(DV IN) modes.
✤ This camcorder records and plays back in SP (standard play)
mode and in LP (long play) mode.
■ SP (standard play): This mode permits 60 minutes of
recording time with a DVM60 tape.
■ LP (long play): This mode permits 90 minutes of recording
time with a DVM60 tape.
1. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the
power switch to REC mode.
2. Press the MENU button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight CAMCORDER
and press the MENU DIAL.
4. Select RECORD SET from the sub-menu and
press the MENU DIAL.
5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight REC MODE and
press the MENU DIAL.
6. Select REC MODE from the sub-menu and press
the MENU DIAL.
■ The REC MODE toggles between SP and LP
with each press.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.
Notes
■ We recommend that you use this camcorder to
play back any tapes recorded on this camcorder.
Playing back a tape recorded in other equipment
may produce mosaic shaped distortion.
■ When you record a tape in SP and LP modes,
or LP mode only, the playback picture may be
distorted or the time code may not be written
properly between scenes.
■ Record using SP mode for the best picture and sound quality.

✤ La función REC MODE está operativa en las modalidades
CAMERA y PLAY(DV IN).
✤ Esta videocámara graba y reproduce en las modalidades
SP (duración estándar) y LP (larga duración).
■ SP (duración estándar): esta modalidad permite 60 minu-
tos de grabación con una cinta DVM60.
■ LP (larga duración): esta modalidad permite 90 minutos
de grabación con una cinta DVM60.
1. Ajuste el dispositivo en CAMCORDER y el
interruptor de encendido en la modalidad REC.
2. Pulse el botón MENÚ.
■ Aparece la lista del menú.
3. Gire el DIAL MENÚ hasta resaltar CAMCORDER
y pulse el DIAL MENÚ.
4. Seleccione RECORD SET en el submenú y
pulse el DIAL MENÚ.
5. Gire el DIAL MENÚ hasta resaltar REC MODE y
después pulse el DIAL MENÚ.
6. Seleccione REC MODE en el submenú y pulse
el DIAL MENÚ.
■ Al pulsar varias veces dicho botón, la opción
REC MODE cambiará alternativamente entre
SP y LP.
7. Para salir, pulse el botón MENÚ.
Notas
■ Recomendamos utilizar esta videocámara
para reproducir las cintas grabadas con ella.
Si se reproducen cintas grabadas con otra
videocámara se puede producir una distorsión
en forma de mosaico.
■ Si graba una cinta en las modalidades SP y
LP, o si sólo graba en LP, puede que la
imagen reproducida aparezca distorsionada o
que los códigos de tiempo no aparezcan
escritos correctamente entre las escenas.
■ Para obtener la mejor calidad de imagen y de
sonido, grabe en la modalidad SP.
