Server configuration

The following table shows the basic setup of the 4-server configuration.

Loading disks

MCS 5100 Release 3.0 Base Platform System SoftWare Kit
NTVW01AJ contains multiple copies of the same CDs to allow
simultaneous installation across servers. See

Table 1, Mapping of Kit

for details. Nortel

recommends that all servers with the same CD numbers be installed at
the same time to reduce installation time.

As shown in

, Disks 1-5 have four copies each. Disk 6 only needs to go on the

Management/Accounting server. There are six Oracle disks, with one
copy, going on the database server.
