The system will now reboot and come up requesting that you
insert CD5.
CD4 will eject from the CD-ROM drive when installed.
Management/Accounting server (MgmtSvr/AcctMgr)
Approximate time estimate = 30 minutes
Procedure 14 Installing CD4 on the MgmtSvr and AcctMgr
At the management pc,
1 Place CD4 in the CD-ROM drive and press Enter to continue.
2 Wait until you see the following statement appear:
”You are now configuring the NTP time source for
this server. The servers which run the
Management and Accounting service will be the
source. You will need to provide the Machine
Logical IP Address of each server. If running
simplex, provide the same address twice.”
3 Press Enter to continue.
4 The Management/Accounting server requires an external clock.
Note: Time source options are
• X - External Clock Device
• E - External Clock Source {IP Address(es)}
• I - Internal Clock (Unreliable)
Select one of the options, then press Enter.
If you select E - External Clock Source, refer to the Network Time
Protocol (NTP) source information on the CSI and select the
appropriate clock for your network.
If you enter I - Internal Clock, then enter the MACHINE Logical
IP Address of the Management/Accounting server:
