3 The third 192 address should reflect the dmfe1 interface followed
by the hostname concatenated with ‘dmfe1.’
Procedure 55 Verifying defaultroute file
[@mcsappsvr]/export/home/nortel:=> cat /etc/defaultrouter
192.168.14.1
1 The only address in this file defines your default gateway route
(your router). If this file is empty and the machine is rebooted,
then you will not have network access to your other MCS
machines.
Verifying the IPCM/Prov/WCM installation
The following commands are executed on the IPCM/Prov/WCM
SunFire V100 using PuTTY SSH into the machine logical IP address.
Example: Open a PuTTY SSH session to 192.168.14.41

Log into the server as nortel/<new nortel user password>
