If you selected E for External time source, you will be prompted
as follows: How many external clock sources would

6 You will see the following message: You have chosen to
configure NTP as follows:
Type of server: Management
Using external Time Source(s): <ip address>
NTP SOURCE (Accounting IP address): <ip address>

Enter Y to accept or N to change.
7 You will see the following statement:
”You are now configuring IPMP (Multipathing)"
”Please have the MgmtSvr/AcctMgr Server
Physical IP addresses and the Machine Logical IP
address ready. Have 6 IP addresses that can be
used as ping buddies."
8 Press the Enter key to continue.
9 You will see the following message:
IP multipathing uses a failover timeout to
determine how long to wait before failing over
to the other interface. The value MUST be
numeric only! The default value is
1000mSec.
Press Enter to accept default value, or type in your
preferred setting and Enter.
10 Enter the primary machine physical IP address for the dmfe0
interface: <Physical IP address of the dmfe0
interface of the management/accounting server>
[Enter]
Example: 192.168.14.12
11 Enter the secondary machine physical IP address for the dmfe1
interface <Physical IP address of the dmfe1
interface of management/accounting server>
[Enter]
Example: 192.168.14.13
12 Enter the <machine logical IP addresses of the
servers>
that are the ping targets.
Note: Do not enter the IP address of the server you are
working on.
