Services Reserved for Attendants

You may be an attendant for your MD Evolution system. Your

Dialog 4422 IP Office extension will be your attendant position, in

a system that can be composed of up to 4 attendant positions.
Your role, then, is to process general calls made to your telephone

facility.
To do so, you have access to all of the services offered to system

users, such as the refer back call, any type of call transfer, automatic

call-back to free or busy extensions, etc.
Among other things, your attendant position offers you the option

of managing a general call forward for your facility, through which

all incoming ISDN network calls are systematically forwarded to an

external number you have set.

Note: Your MD Evolution system also offers you other

additional services reserved for attendants. This includes,

among others, the option of managing the use of a common

bell service, as well as other basic management services for

your telephone facility, such as – most particularly – re-

initialising any user password, and managing abbreviated

dialling. These services are, however, reserved for high-end

Dialog 4225 or 4223 digital extensions, or Dialog 4425 IP

Vision extensions or their equivalent.

Operations for General Calls in Day Mode

As an attendant, your role is to process your facility’s general calls

during your shift.
When we refer to “Day mode”, we are referring to the mode that is

automatically activated when you assume your duties (or when the

first attendant does so), and remains applicable as long as your

status (or at least one attendant’s status) remains in active general

call acceptance mode (see details to follow).
