10. The following screen appears. Confirm the put-away location in the
Location field.
11. Next, press the <Enter> key to process the put-away. You are returned
to the Item # screen. Here, you have the option to choose another item
for put-away. Repeat steps 5–10 until all items have been processed.
12. Press the <ESC> key to exit to the Receiving menu.
13. Press the <ESC> key again to return to the Main menu.
Cross
Docking IntelliTrack WMS-RF Professional supports cross docking during the put-
away process. Cross docking is only available when putting away an item.
When cross docking is implemented, any pending orders that are awaiting
the received item are displayed to the operator. The alert also includes the
item quantity needed. An operator has the option to move the item to a
back order staging area or ignore the alert and complete the put-away pro-
cess for the item.
Important: To enable cross docking, you must select the Cross dock
check during put-away item selection in the WMS RF Server Options
form/Receiving tab.
To use the cross docking feature, please refer to the procedure that follows:
1. From the Main menu, select the <F3> key.
2. The Receiving menu appears. Next, select the <F4> key (Put-away).
3. The Put-away screen appears. Next, select the <F1> key (Item).
