10. Select OK to close the dialog box.
11. The Edit Host Profile dialog box appears. Select the host profile name
that you want to verify. Make sure the host profile settings match what
you entered in the Host Profiles screen in the TelnetCE installation util-
ity on the PC. (Please refer to
“Configuring the Host Profiles” on
page 18 for information about the Host Profiles screen in the TelnetCE
installation utility.)
The name entered in the Alias field of the Edit Host Profile dialog box
is the host profile name; it must match the host profile name entered in
the Name field of the Host Profiles screen\Host tab of the TelnetCE
installation utility on the PC.
The Address entered in the Address field of the Edit Host Profile dia-
log box is the IP address of the computer running the RF server; it must
match the IP address entered in the Address field of the Host Profiles
screen\Host tab of the TelnetCE installation utility on the PC.
The port entered in the Port field must match the port entered in the
Host Profiles screen\Host tab of the TelnetCE installation utility on the
PC. You must use the default port setting of 23.
In the Emulation field, verify the emulation mode; it must be VT220.
(This is the Type setting in the Host Profiles screen\Host tab of the Tel-
netCE installation utility on the PC.)
12. After you have verified the host profile settings and made any neces-
sary changes to the host profile settings, select Save.
13. Select the Close icon (X) in the top right corner of the dialog box to
close the Edit Host Profile dialog box and return to the Main screen.

Settings If you are unable to connect to RF Server on the handheld device: make
sure your firewall is set to allow the WMS RF server and handheld device
connections.
If it is required that the Windows Firewall remain on, please note the fol-
lowing requirements:
• The WMS RF Server application must be added as an exception.
• A port for the portable devices must be added:
If you are using Windows CE devices with Telnet, add TCP Port 23;
If you are using DOS devices, add TCP Port 3000.
