1. In the Picking mode section of the form, select the desired picking
mode for the RF Portables:
Note: If you select a picking zone for the portable device, the picking
locations will be limited to the locations in the selected picking zone. The
zone option is only available with the RF Professional version; it is set in
the RF Client Options menu (From the RF Client Main screen, select F7 =
Options > F5 = Zone). For more information about this setting, please
refer to
“Selecting RF Client Device Options” on page 57 .
To clean: Select this option to direct the operator to the location with
the least quantity.
Single pick least quantity: Select this option to direct the operator to
the location with the least quantity that completely satisfies the line.
Greatest quantity: Select this option to direct the operator to the loca-
tion with the greatest quantity.
Primary location: Select this option to direct the operator to the pri-
mary location for the item.
2. In the Other section of the form, select the picking order options that
you want to implement for the RF Portables:
Show all picking orders: Select this option to display all open and
closed orders on order inquiry.
Auto close picking order: Select this option to close the order when
all lines are picked.
Allow over picking: Select this option to permit an operator to pick
more than what is indicated on the picking order.
