The <F3> key opens an inventory let down screen. If the order item’s
UOM quantity is too high for the required pick, you are able to perform
an inventory let down by selecting the <F3> key.
If you are able to fulfill the order quantity, select the UOM in the UOM
field, enter the quantity in the Qty field, and select the <Enter> key to
continue with the pick. (Skip the next step, since you do not have to
perform an inventory let down to meet the pick ordered quantity.)
If the item being picked exceeds the pick ordered quantity because the
item UOM at this location is too high, you are able to perform an item
let down; please refer to the next step.
6. If the item being picked requires a let down to meet the pick UOM
quantity at the selected location, place the UOM quantity for the let
down in the Qty field at the order quantity screen.
7. Next, select the <F3> key.
The following screen appears.
• The Letdown screen asks you if you want to let this inventory down
to the next item UOM in the item’s UOM hierarchy. Select the
<Enter> key to convert the item’s UOM.
You are returned to the order item quantity screen. The let down con-
version appears in the UOM field.
