Hysteresis (In case of upper limit alarm)

An alarm output is turned ON if measurement value exceeds the upper limit value as shown
below. Once the alarm output has been turned ON, it is not turned OFF as long as the
indication does not fall below the hysteresis width from the upper limit value.

0 to 20% of full scale
[% full scale (FS)] represents the percentage
with the width of the range of each compo-
nent regarded as 100%.

Note

The hysteresis is common to all alarms
(components).

To close the “Hysteresis Setting” or cancel

the mode midway, press the

ESC

key.

To close "Hysteresis Setting"

ESC

(1) In the “Alarm No. Selection” screen that

appears, point the cursor to “Hysteresis”
by pressing the

or

key. Press the

ENT

key.

(2) In the “Hysteresis Value Setting” screen

that appears, enter hysteresis values.

For the value entry, 1-digit value is
increased or decreased by pressing the

or

key, and pressing the

key

moves the digit. After setting, press the

ENT

key.

6.3.2 Hysteresis setting

To prevent chattering of an alarm output near
the alarm setting values, set the value
of hysteresis.
