1. Monitoring the Serial Interface

Information on the serial device as such can be seen through the monitoring command DEVICE. As
well as showing the number of times the ARLY interface has dropped and reestablished, it also shows
the signal state, configuration for this and the error statistics. In order to obtain a printed version, enter
the following from the monitoring process:
