SNMP-SERVER CONTACT
Syntax
snmp-server contact LINE
no snmp-server contact
Parameters
LINE
Specifies an alphanumeric string including spaces. You do
not have to use quotation marks to indicate spaces.
Choose a value that is between 1 and 255 characters in
length.
Description
Use the SNMP-SERVER CONTACT command to set a contact person,
email address, or IP address for the SNMP system. To remove a contact
from the SNMP server, use the no form of this command.

Examples
The following command sets the SNMP server contact to
[email protected]:
switch#snmp-server contact [email protected]
The following command sets the SNMP server contact to “Todd Marcus:”
switch#snmp-server contact Todd Marcus
The following command sets the SNMP server contact to IP address
192.34.12.4:
switch#snmp-server contact 192.34.12.4
