DOT1X TIMEOUT SUPP-TIMEOUT
Syntax
dot1x timeout supp-timeout SECS <1-65535>
no dot1x timeout supp-timeout
Parameters
SECS Specifies the supplicant response timeout. The default
timeout is 30 seconds. The range is from 1 to 65,535
seconds.
Description
Use the DOT1X TIMEOUT SUPP-TIMEOUT command to set the interval
for a supplicant to respond. Use the no form of this command to return it to
the default setting.

The following commands set the supplicant timeout to 40 seconds on
interface 2.
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# interface xe2
switch(config-if)# dot1x timeout supp-timeout 40
