Serger Library – Simply Serging

Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “B’ on the Stitch Selection Panel.

Thread the serger for a 4-thread Overlock stitch using Woolly Nylon in both Loopers.

Cut a mock neckline on the corner of the fleece.

Fold the ribbing in half (wrong sides together)to 1¾” X 6”.

Matching raw edges, place the ribbing to the neckline on the right side of the fleece.

Serge the ribbing to the fleece, stretching the ribbing to meet the fleece neckline.

You may find it easiest to serge for about 2’’ and stop. Touch the Needle Stop Button

to lower the Needles into the fabric, reposition the fabric and ribbing, and then
continue serging for another 2”. Repeat the Needle Stop, repositioning, and serging to
the end of the fabric.

Trim and mount the sample.
