Instruction Manual for Multi-purpose Attachment with Guide
• Following the directions in the Instruction Manual on page___, thread for a
3-thread Flatlock using the Center Needle.
• Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “D”.
• Set Stitch Length to 4.
• Attach the Multi-Purpose Foot (no guide) following the directions in the Instruction
Manual for Multi-Purpose Attachment with Guide.
• Attach the Right Hand Seam Guide and move the Guide halfway between the Right
Needle and the Stitch Finger.
• Lay the pre-strung beads in the groove on the top of the Presser Foot, threading them
under the back groove (See Instruction Manual for Multi-purpose Attachment with
Guide).
• Turn the Handwheel to encase the first beads into the Thread Chain.
• Fold the fabric in half to 2” X 6” and place the fabric under the Presser Foot with the
fold against the Right Hand Seam Guide.
• Slowly Flatlock the beads to the folded fabric.
• Pull the fabric flat.
• Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight fabric 4” X 6”
10” of plastic pre-strung beads (4mm)
NEEDLES: 80/12 Universal
THREAD: 3 cones of serger thread
PRESSER FOOT: Multi-Purpose Foot
