TOP AND BOTTOM COVER STITCH

•
Convert the serger from Overlock to Cover Stitch using the directions on
page__ in the Instruction Manual or on the Quick Reference Card.
•
Insert the Left, Center, and Right Needles.
•
Stitch Selection Dial to “H”.
•
Attach the Fifth Spool Holder.
•
Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual, thread the
serger for a 4-thread Cover Stitch.
•
Push the Wiper Activating Lever towards the Needle Bar.
•
Lower the Wiper.
•
Thread the Wiper.
•
Fold the fabric in half to 2½” X 6” and center the fabric under the Presser Foot.
•
Cover Stitch the length of the fabric. Stop stitching with the Needles in the
fabric.
•
Turn the Handwheel away from you to raise the Needles to their highest position.
•
Lift the Presser Foot and remove the fabric from under the Presser Foot.
•
Trim and mount the sample.
•
Remove the thread from the Wiper Spool Pin.
•
Disengage the Wiper and pull the Wiper Activating Lever away from the Needle
Bar to return the serger to 4-thread Cover Stitch.
