To turn off the detector, open the switch cover on the bottom of the main unit, and turn "OFF" the power switch.
Then, turn off the power supply (24 VDC) to the detector.

3-4. Basic operating procedures

Normally, the detection mode is activated after the power is turned on.

Before turning off the detector, the inhibit (point skip) on the upper (central) system must be activated.
Decide whether the power can be turned off by checking the operation of the devices connected to
the external output or external contact output terminal of the detector.

• If the alarm contact is energized (option), it is activated when the detector is turned "OFF".

• If the gas to be detected has an adsorptive feature, the detector must be cleaned thoroughly with

fresh air before turning "OFF" the detector.
