Connector

Description

Display cable – connects the fraction collector control
module to the power supply and other ports in the base of
the fraction collector.

Diverter valve connector – used to connect the diverter
valve to the fraction collector.

I/O connector – a 15-pin D connector used for
connecting the following instruments to the BioFrac

fraction collector:

BioLogic™ LP chromatography system,
Model EP-1 Econo

pump. This system controls

fraction advances.

Econo gradient pump. The fraction collector controls all
fraction collection parameters.

External pump. With a BioFrac accessory cable (15-pin
to bare wires) connected to the I/O port, the fraction
collector can receive start, stop, and fraction advance
signals from an external pump. (The pump must have
compatible control circuitry logic. See

Instrument Bus – for connecting the BioFrac to a
BioLogic DuoFlow™ system using system cables 17, 18,
19, or 21.
