StarFire Quality of Service Specification without notice to
the User. Navcom further reserves the right to offer other
Levels of Service and to make those Levels of Service
commercially available to whoever it chooses. Nothing in
this License permits the User to have access to any other
NavCom StarFire service other than the StarFire GNSS
service.

3. Licensed Areas

StarFire Licenses may be issued with certain geographic
and/or application restrictions which permit the use of the
signals only in these Licensed Areas. This License permits
the use of the StarFire GNSS service only in the Land Area
as described below. The User understands that the use of
geo-fencing may apply in order to ensure the use of the
License within the Licensed Areas.

Land: This Licensed Area generally
includes all continental land masses
except Antarctica and also bounded by the
area between 72 degrees North Latitude
and 72 degrees South Latitude and also
further bounded by the satellite line of sight
requirements set out in Attachment B,
whichever

is

most

restrictive.

This

generally contains the following land
masses: North America, South America,
Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa. The
airspace above these areas is included.
This License enables the use of the
StarFire

GNSS

Service

on

inland

waterways and lakes but does not permit
its use on seas or oceans.

Furthermore there are certain application areas that are not
licensed for use under this license. These are defined as
Restricted Applications and are set out in more detail in
Attachment A. You agree that You will not use the StarFire
signals in geographic areas or in applications for which the
License does not authorize their use. See Attachment A.
