Ethernet Wireless LAN Service
You can create an Ethernet Wireless LAN service using
Safari Network radio modules that have COM1 ports
configured for Ethernet networking.
This configuration must be preset at the factory.
Any Safari Network radio modules that are
purchased without this option must be returned to
the factory in order to be reconfigured.
The Safari Network extends the wired LAN network
beyond the length of the cables, and acts as an Ethernet
switch that filters and forwards packets between the
devices for network segments. It can be configured to
operate as part of an existing LAN network, as a private
LAN connected to an existing LAN network, or to an ISP
through a DSL/Cable router.
