Low byte: User-configured flag to indicate if input data is byte-swapped in
each word before placing in the input image for the controller. If 0, no

swapping. If not 0, then swap bytes in each word

High byte: User-configured flag to indicate if output data is byte-swapped in
each word after receiving from the output image of the controller. If 0, no

swapping. If not 0, then swap bytes in each word
