SCREEN FOR CONSUMPTION TAX RATE SETTING

Note 1) Consumption tax rate is a prerequisite, so that 0% can not be allowed.
Note 2) Where asterisk mark or “*” can be seen in the upper right on the screen, entry by scanner can be made

possible.

Note 3) Fractions should be omitted.

SWITCHING TO ENGLISH CURRENCY

1. Default option: As referred to [5-6] on the Process on the Screen for Currency Mark Setting, where default

option is selected, the mark will be represented in English currency.

2. Pound and pence: If, in the process No. 1, [SHFT] is pressed, it will not be changed to the presentation of

pence on the screen.

Where Pound is specified, decimal point will be put in the space between 2 and 3 digits from the last position in
the price entered.
If the numbers entered are less than 3 digits, “0.” will be added.

How to change:

Pound

£1.50

Select default currency, so that it will be changed to pound.

Pence

150ð

Select default currency, so that it will be changed to pence.

Where the tax rate is changed, re-enter 4 digits
ranging from 0 to 9. Note that entry is a prerequisite.
Press [ENTR], so that it goes back to the entry screen
for PRICE.

Press [FNC2], so that it goes to the screen for the
consumption tax rate.

Press [AC], so that it clears the date entered.

Note: Where no rate is set, the process No. 2 will

automatically be displayed before the No. 1.

On the PRICE entry screen in the default option 1
(See below.) for currency mark, press [FNC1].

(To use a price data)

Select pound and pence 2 (See below.) with [

←] and

[

→ ].

Press [ENTR], so that it goes back to the process
No. 1.
