Modifying Alerts
When you select an item (2) and click on Modify (5), the Modify Alert
submenu displays as shown below.

To modify an alert, enter the information needed for the following
items:
•
Alert Type: This item allows you to specify the alert type. You can
select Snmp Type or Email from the pop-up menu.
• Event Severity: This item allows you to decide how to classify or
label an alert
• according to the seriousness of the alert. You can choose an item
from the popup menu to categorize the alert: Disable All,
Informational, Warning, Critical or Non-recoverable.
• Destination IP: This item allows you to specify the IP address of the
server that you want to send your alert to.
• Email Address: This item allows you to specify the e-mail address
that you want to send your alert to.
After entering the information in the fields, press <Save> to save the
information you've entered or press <Cancel> to cancel it.
