3. Choose the serial port connected with the switch and configure
with the following parameters:
Baudrate = 9600
Data bits = 8
Parity = None
Stop bit = 1
4. This brings up the switch’s command line interface for user login.
5. Enter username and password to login to the switch.
6. To view the switch configurations use show commands and to
configure the switch type config term to get access to the
configuration commands. For help type ? or help.
