Remote Control-Launch SOL
This feature allows you to launch the remote console by using
Serial_over_LAN.When you click on the Remote Control icon in the
Menu bar (1) to activate the Remote Control settings, the Remote
Control Main Page will display.

1 Launch SOL: Click on this item in the left Options window to
activate SOL(Serial Over LAN) support, which provides serial port
connections over LAN and allows the user to access a host server
via Console Redirection. It also allows a system administrator to
monitor and manage a server from a remote site.
2 The Launch SOL Button: Click on this button to launch SOL. The
following screen displays to indicate the progress of SOL launching
as shown on the next page.
