Getting Access to the SSA Disks SMIT Menu
1. For fast-path access to the SSA RAID Array SMIT menus, type smitty ssad and
press Enter.
Otherwise:
a. Type smitty and press Enter. The System Management menu is displayed.
b. Select Devices. The Devices menu is displayed.
c. Select SSA Disks.
2. The SSA Disks menu is displayed:
SSA Disks
Move cursor to desired item and press Enter.
SSA Logical Disks
SSA Physical Disks
F1=HelpF2=Refresh F3=Cancel F8=Image
F9=Shell F10=Exit Enter=Do
Select the type of SSA disk on which you want to work.
v SSA logical disks are configured into the using system as hdisks. SSA hdisks
can be single disk drives or SSA RAID arrays.
v SSA physical disks are configured into the using system as pdisks. SSA pdisks
are used for service and configuration operations.
3. If you select SSA Logical Disks, go to step 4 on page 42.
If you select SSA Physical Disks, go to step 5 on page 42.
