6. Conversion from MIDI to RS-485
When DEQ5 receives a MIDI program change message through the MIDI IN terminal, it converts the format,
sends a RS-485 program change message through the RS-485 terminal, and switches the memory number of
DEQ5E having a local address that matches its remote address.
Since the remote address of DEQ5 is “broadcast” in-the diagram below, the program change affects all of DEQ5E
collectively.
