Preparation for Mounting—Doors Hinged on the Left Side
The following procedure applies only to cubicle doors hinged on the left-hand side. To replace the display
panel on a door hinged on the right-hand side, see Preparation for Mounting—Doors Hinged on the Right
Side.
1. Remove the excitation control system from service and de-energize all operating/control power
voltage.
2. Open the cubicle door and loosen the thumbscrew holding the hinged display panel mounting
bracket against the door.
3. Remove the nuts and screws securing the display panel to the mounting bracket and remove the
display panel.
4. Separate the display mounting bracket from the hinge assembly by removing the three screws
shown in Figure 66 (locator A). Retain these screws for use later.

5. Separate the hinge assembly from the stiffener by removing the two screws shown in Figure 66
(locator B). Retain these screws for use later.
6. Cut the stiffener to match the illustration of Figure 67.
