NAME

showcodlicense - display the current Capacity on Demand (COD) right-to-use
(RTU) licenses stored in the COD license database

SYNOPSIS

showcodlicense

[-r] [-v]

showcodlicense -h

DESCRIPTION

showcodlicense

(8) displays COD license information stored in the COD license

database. When used without options it displays the current licenses.

Privileges

You must have platadm or platop privileges to run this command.

Refer to setprivileges(8) for more information.

The showcodlicense command displays the following COD information:

Displaying Formatted License Data

-h

Displays usage statement.

When used with other options or operands, an error occurs.

-r

Displays the license information in the raw license-signature
format, as stored in the COD license database.

-v

Specifies verbose output. Displays both the formatted license
information and raw license-signature data.

Description

Type of resource (processor).

Ver

Version number of the license, which is always set to 01.

Expiration

Expiration of the license.

Count

Number of right-to-use licenses granted for the given
resource.

Status

GOOD

, which indicates that the given resource is valid, or

EXPIRED

, which indicates that the resource license is no

longer valid.
