Follow these guidelines when using Image Combination mode:
! You can only make copies of either the front or back of
double-sided originals at one time.
! Originals copied in the Image Combination mode must all be the
same size.
! When making copies in the 2 on 1/two-sided mode on A3 or
Ledger-sized media (64 g/m
2 or 17-lb bond), wait more than
30 minutes after the power switch has been turned on.
! The copy quantity in the 2 on 1/two-sided mode is one,
regardless of the size of the selected copy media.
You cannot use Image Combination (pages per sheet) with the
following modes:
! Two-sided
! Two-page Separation
! Image Separation
! Framing
! Blanking
! Multi-page Enlargement
! Entire Image
Note The reduction ratio is automatically set to match the selected copy
media size.
The Image Combination (pages per sheet) settings that can be
selected depend on which optional accessories are attached. When
the optional ADF is attached, the selectable features are 2 on 1 and
2 on 1/two-sided.
