Copying from special-media originals
The optional ADF supports several special types of media. If you wish
to make copies from originals printed on special media, use Heavy
Sheet Original mode and the optional ADF. You can use Heavy Sheet
Original mode for any of the following special media:
! Heaver paper up to 105 g/m 2 (28 lb) bond
! Glossy colored originals
! Paper with a shiny surface
Note You can use Heavy Sheet Original only when the optional ADF is
attached.
The following original media sizes can be used in this setting:
! Media size: Executive/A5-size to 11 by 17 in/A3-size
(Executive/A5-size originals must be placed vertically)
! Media weight: 50 to 105 g/m 2 (15 to 28-lb) bond
! Media quantity at one time: Stack about 10 mm (3/8 in) high
Note When placing heavy sheet originals in the optional ADF, the copying
speed will be slower than that of normal copying.
