Text/Photo Priority in Black mode

Use the Text/Photo Priority in Black mode to make high quality copies
of the selected type of original. Adjust these settings to the type of
black monochrome copies you make most often. This will ensure that
the copy module will produce high quality copies for photo and text
images. The settings for this mode are:

!

Photo Priority setting: makes clear copies of original photo
images

!

Text Priority setting: makes clear copies of original text images

These settings adjust the exposure when copying either text or photo
images. When Text Priority is selected to make copies in the Black
Monochrome mode, the copy module will make copies of the original
using Black Text copy job settings, even if Text/Photo/Map is selected
from the copy module touch panel display.

Note

The factory default setting for Text/Photo Priority in Black is Photo
Priority.
