Displaying a Container’s Write Cache Setting

The

write cache setting

attribute indicates whether the write

cache is enabled for a container.

Note:

Some controllers do not support the write cache

feature. See your installation guide to determine if your
controller supports the write cache feature.

To display a container’s write cache setting, use the

container

show cache

command, as in the following example. In the

example, the Write Cache Setting item shows that the write cache is
set to DISABLE.

HPN0> container show cache 0

Executing: container show cache 0

Global Container Read Cache Size : 5345280

Global Container Write Cache Size : 63332352

Read Cache Setting : DISABLE

Write Cache Setting : DISABLE

Write Cache Status : Inactive, cache disabled
