To stop task 106, use the

task stop

command, as in the following

example. In the example, the task stop command stops the task with
the task ID of 106.

HPN0> task stop 106

Executing: task stop 106

The controller displays the following message:

Container 0 aborted Scrub task.

After executing the

task stop

command, use the

task list

command to verify that task 106 has stopped running on the
controller, as in the following example. In the example, the message
No tasks currently running on contoller

indicates that task 106 has

been stopped.

Suspending Tasks

The CLI’s

task suspend

command allows you to suspend one or

all tasks that are running on a controller. Note that the

task

suspend

command is not supported for SCSI tasks, including the

disk verify and disk zero tasks.

This section provides an example that describes how to suspend a
task running on a controller.
