Protective Shielding
Engine Side Covers
The side covers protect the operator from hot and/or
moving parts . Do not operate the tractor unless the
engine side covers are in place and latched .
Starter Solenoid Shield
The shield covers the starter solenoid electrical
connections to prevent accidental contact . The
shield must be installed whenever the batteries are
connected to the electrical system . Always disconnect
battery before removing the shield .
DANGER: NEVER ATTEMPT TO START THE TRACTOR
BY BYPASSING THE WIRES TO THE STARTER
MOTOR.
Battery Cover
The battery cover protects the batteries from damage
and the electrical connections from accidental contact .
The battery cover must always be in place and latched
during operation .
WARNING: INSTALL ALL PROTECTIVE SHIELDS
BEFORE STARTING OR OPERATING THE TRACTOR.
