7.3 Identification tab
What is it Identification tab?
The identification tabs are used for changing calling party number of the stations. You can create and
modify them in the menu Routing – Identification tabs . If you want to use specific identification
tab you have to assign it to the virtual port or virtual port type. Menu for set up consists of two
windows. On the left side of the menu is displayed list of the created identification tabs. On the right
side you can set up selected identification tab. Context menu on the left side of the menu consists of
following options:
Add – With this option you can add another identification tab.
Delete – With this option you can delete selected identification tab. If you delete some identification
tab, all its dependencies are removed from the database (e.g. assigning of the identification tab to
the carrier).
Rename – With this option you can rename existing identification tab.
Default – With this option you can delete all current identification tabs and create default
identification tabs. These tabs are already filled with corresponding objects (stations, users, ...).
Actualize – With this option you can actualize selected identification tab according to selected type.
Type is selected via dialog box. Old records from identification tab aren't deleted.
Actualize all – With this option you can add default identification tabs and preserve all already
existing.

Example
For example station with number 1234 belongs to user Rubas Marek and is calling through the virtual
port with assigned identification tab from figure 1. New identification of this station will be done in
this way: – At first is created number 261 301 000 with subtype National. – Second are last three
digits changed according to previous station number – 234. Now we have number 261 301 234. –
Last step in this case is setting of ISDN numbering plan, Screening and Presentation which are
transmitted via DSS1 signalling. Within this section are also denied elements Facility and Redirecting
independently of previous routing.
