The devices are connected to the bus system via a fieldbus cable according
to the DeviceNet TM specification (DeviceNet Adaption of CIP, Edition 1.1,
Volume Three). Companies like Belden Wire & Cable, Olflex Wire & Cable,
C&M Corp. and Madison Cable produce DeviceNet TM “Thick” and “Thin”
cables


If you do not want to use the “Thick” or “Thin” cables, the cable
you use must meet the demands of the DeviceNet specification.
A cable with features that do not comply with the demands is
not permissible and must not be used !
