Using Network Diagnostics

Chapter Objectives

You can see what devices are on your communication link and display diagnostic
information for those devices. For example, you can monitor the number of

messages sent between your processor and another device on your link.

This chapter explains how to see what devices are on your local DH+ or Ethernet

link and how to display diagnostic counters for those devices.

Note

Before you try to access the network diagnostics, make sure you have configured
DH+ or Ethernet communications for your programming terminal.

Accessing Network Diagnostics

To use network diagnostics, do the following:
