Printing Reports

You can select a printer template as the your printer configuration or you can specify
a file name for the report to so that you can print or view the report at a later time.

ControlGuardian is initially configured to print reports to a printer using the LPT1

communications port. To select a printer template, do the following:

Printer Configuration Function Key Descriptions

If you want to:

Select a printer driver template. You can also modify, create, or delete

printer template files.

Printer Driver Name

Select where the printout will be sent. LPT1 is standard for most printer

configurations. Other options are LPT2, COM1, COM2, or a disk file.

You can print the report to a disk file to save for later reference or printing.

You must specify a valid DOS drive and path.

Print Destination

Select the Default File Destination. Toggle between yes and no.

Selecting no prints the compare report to the

Selecting yes creates a comparison report file with the same name as

the processor file:
C:\AUTO\MASTER\FILE NAME.TXT

For example: If the master name is MACHINE1, the compare report

is named MACHINE1.TXT.
