Inserting Files into the Master Library

Before you insert PLC-5 files into the master library, make sure ControlGuardian
expects the appropriate file extension. ControlGuardian supports different compare
operations for .AF5 files than for .X5 files. For more information on compare
operations, see chapter 5. You can use all the compare operations on .X5 files. You
can use only these compare operations on .AF5 files:
· compare only
· retrieve and compare
· retrieve only
To select the file extension for ControlGuardian, do the following:

When you are ready to print a report that is based on a .AF5 file, it is important not
to specify a path for the printer destination. For more information about printing
reports, see chapter 10.
