Using WHO Active

The WHO active screen displays a table that identifies the devices that are attached

to the DH+ or Ethernet link. The screen that appears depends on the current

communication link. Through this screen, you can choose the processor you want

to use.

Note

If you connect your terminal directly to a PLC-5/11, -5/20, -5/30, -5/40, -5/40L,
-5/60, -5/60L, or -5/80 processor through the serial port (channel 0), the WHO
active functions are not active.

Identifies the mode of the

processor you are using, the

memory size of the programming

terminal, and the communication

board series and revision.

Ethernet link

Identifies the base IP address

of your programming terminal.

Identifies the the station

number. This number is the

last three digits of the

IP address for the device.

Shows the devices for the subnet you specified (xxx.xxx.xxx.000)
